Vertical roller mill for cement grinding (MVR 6700 C-6)
The MVR 6700 C-6, the biggest vertical mill in the world, operates in Brazil since 2016. LafargeHolcim, one of the global players in the cement industry, ordered this mill which produces 450 tph slag cement with a fineness of 4,300 cm²/g acc. to Blaine. The MVR mill is driven by the unique MultiDrive®, which provides a tremendous drive power of 11,500 kW. This is currently the most modern and efficient grinding system in the world.
Vertical roller mill for cement grinding (MVR 6000 C-6)
This cement grinding plant with a Gebr. Pfeiffer MVR 6000 C-6 produces in Port Kembla, Australia for Holcim/Heidelberg Cement. In addition to cement, the grinding system also produces several composite cements, whereby the production changeover from one type of cement to the other takes only a few minutes. The product rate for cement is 215 tph. The fineness is about 4,000 cm²/g acc. to Blaine. This mill is equipped with a MultiDrive® which e.g. protects the system against failure.
ready2grind modular system in Kenya (MVR 1800 C-4)
Gebr. Pfeiffer’s modular grinding system ready2grind went first into operation in Kenia in early 2017. Since then more than 10 further plants were ordered and will soon running on three continents. The compact system goes up quickly which allows fast market entry. Usually, the time between contract signing and FOB delivery of the plant takes 5-7 months. The mill installed in Kenia is a MVR 1800 C-4 with a production capacity of 20 - 30 tph cement, depending on type of cement and fineness.
